Mark Cox
Hi, I’m Mark.
I’m a connection coach, guide, and self-discovery facilitator — and the through-line in everything I do is this: I help people find their way back to themselves and to one another.
For more than 15 years — as a counselor, pastor, coach, retreat facilitator, and creative — I’ve worked at the intersection of human connection and inner discovery. What I’ve come to know is that most people aren’t broken. They’re buried. Under expectations, under roles, under years of showing up for everyone else. My work creates the conditions to unbury.
I believe connection is the path back to aliveness. And I believe the natural world is one of the most powerful teachers we have — if we slow down enough to let it speak.
Through one-on-one coaching, I create a deeply personal, unhurried space where you can get honest about what’s not working and rediscover what truly matters to you. Through personal retreats, I take that work outside — into nature, into stillness, into the kind of immersive experience that opens up something in people that ordinary life rarely gives them access to. These are among the most meaningful experiences I have the privilege of being part of.
I also bring this work into professional spaces through The Business Lab — a full-day team experience that helps organizations build the kind of trust, presence, and genuine connection that makes everything else work better.
There’s also another layer of who I am that I don’t separate from this work: I’m a creative and an artist. I believe that expression — in all its forms — is a form of connection. That making something, sharing something, being moved by something, is part of how we remember we’re alive.
At the heart of everything I do is one question I ask everyone I work with:
What does full freedom feel like?
I’d love to help you find out.
